I have an urgent requirement for a 2nd Line Engineer to support a Global organisation, providing Network Support to circa 50 end clients.

This role will base you in Peterborough, Monday-Friday for around 9 Months.

Role Requirements:

  • Supporting BAU tickets at 2nd Line; ensuring all incidents are logged correctly, and the correct technical solution is provided

  • You will be responsible for Incident diagnostics, monitoring and analysing issues, software upgrades across multiple devices, bug fixes, config. back-up/restore

  • Escalate relevant tickets to the Problem and Incident team

  • Provide technical support to all new customers during their on-boarding period and beyond

Skills/Experience required:

  • You must have at least 2 years commercial experience in a 2nd Line support role within an SLA environment

  • Strong customer service skills

  • It is essential that you hold a CCNA certification

  • Any knowledge of ITIL, Fortinet, and CheckPoint is helpful but not essential
