IT Support Engineer Level 1 – Cambridge

Contact £150 to £175 per day dependant on experience

SoCode is partnered with a multinational information technology company which provides excellent software solutions across a number of industries. They are looking for an experienced Support engineer in Cambridge although some national and international travel may be required for this position.

Main Responsibilities

Management of escalated Helpdesk support incidents within agreed SLAs through to completion,
Provide service and support of the company’s entire IT infrastructure in order to maintain optimum availability and communication,
Provide userbase training for skill transfer in IT service teams to all levels,
Assistance of direct user support in Cambridge as well as remotely,
Actively contribute to IT support development,
Essential Knowledge & Experience

Experience of Level 1 or level 2 support or degree level education,
Problem solving and troubleshooting experience,
Windows based support,
Support experience of common client software e.g.: Microsoft Office 365, Skype, etc,  
Understanding of networking, active directory, backup, antivirus, hardware and maintenance,
Excellent communication skills
