Individual with Biological Science background required for a Medical Research Grants Officer opportunity in Cheshire. You will assist local innovative organisations write bids for grants/funding.

This is an opportunity to use your Biological Sciences knowledge to collaborate with scientists and researchers in order to help their organisation’s prepare bids to receive grants/funding to accelerate their growth and ability to innovate.

Essential skills:

  • Biological Sciences background (ideally PhD or MSc)
  • Strong verbal communication
  • Strong written communication, evidenced through own research papers/blogs/publications

This opportunity is likely to suit two profiles of people:

  • Someone who has already done a similar role – looking for a new challenge within a rapidly changing and growing organisation. (£35-£40K)
  • A graduate (PhD or MSc) who has decided to move away from academia and instead use their academic skills within the business world. (Circa £30k)
