Network Support Engineer – Surrey – 3 Month Contract – £300 Per Day – ASAP
I am currently on the hunt for a Network Support Engineer, for a leading client of mine based in Surrey.
What you will do:
The role is to provide high-quality Network/Telecommunication support to a large community as part of a customer-focused support team.
The Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effective operation and availability of the supporting infrastructure for customers. Working within the ITIL process guidelines the team is responsible for the support of incidents, service requests, changes, events and capacity issues as well as reducing the number of Incidents logged through proactive problem management and Root Cause Analysis.
The successful candidate will be expected to deal with support calls and implement technical change/project work for our clients in an efficient and timely manner working to all contracted SLAs and OLAs.Your experience will include:
Administration of Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, SIP trunks, ISDN lines, Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), Netcall (voicemail), Tiger (call reporting tool)
Administration of Cisco Routers and Switches including STP, OSPF, BGP, ACL, software upgrades
