Security Architect – Law Enforcement – London – 8 months+ Inside IR35
A great opportunity has arisen within a central government organisation for a Security Architect to carry out some of the following responsibilities:
*Assist in the creation, development and implementation of the organisation's cybersecurity baseline control set within programmes and projects;
*Deliver security architecture SME's into design reviews to deliver design assurance;
*Deliver end to end security architecture across technology programmes and projects;
*Liaise with projects and business representatives to design and implement secure solutions in line with the business requirements
*Ability to write architectural design documents, or review design documents provided by others.
*Must have a thorough knowledge of security architecture methodologies;
*Must have a proven track record of implementing and or assuring infrastructure, applications, and information security solutions including technologies such as protective monitoring covering IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, endpoint security, patch management, system hardening, cloud security, gateway security, encryption and PKI, identity and access management, application security and cross-domain solutions.
*Must have a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory and its concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data centre, and application software.
*Experience within Secure Government organisations as a security architect.
*Experience in designing and implementing secure 'On Premise' and 'Cloud' based solutions.
*Excellent understanding of Government Security processes and procedures.
