Service Desk Analyst – Worthing, Sussex – 3 months initially – £100-£110 a day via umbrella

To provide effective and positive first line customer focussed support through managing calls and handling the resulting incidents or service requests, supporting the service operation using the incident management and request fulfilment processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

To be responsible for undertaking a wide array of tasks to ensure that all Service Desk duties are effectively carried out, both proactively and reactively.

You will be required to support and maintain PC hardware, software and networking systems via the telephone.

Ensure information is accurately captured on to the call logging system and if a issue cannot be resolved via the telephone, email or by using remote control software, to re-direct the call to the appropriate team.

To provide cover fo r the Service Desk telephone between providing adequate cover during lunchtimes, periods of leave or sickness. Also, to ensure that calls are answered in a timely fashion and that service level agreements are met.
