Service Desk Technician

Inside IR35 – must operate with an Umbrella Company
£82 – £92 per day
My client is looking for a first line support technician to work for the Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Directorate services teams supporting systems, infrastructure and network including but not limited to: user management and security (eg account creation); password management; email account creation; and antivirus monitoring. To ensure that all processes and performance are carried out in line with the Directorate's policies and procedures. This will be service desk work call logging, working from ticketing systems, resolving 1st line issues deskside or remotely. If no resolution escalating to the appropriate teams for resolution.
Excellent communication skills are required for this customer service role.
Knowledge of IT Service desk functions
Experience of delivering services in a demanding customer service environment.
Good knowledge of user account management and understanding of Active Directory objects.
