Job Description

Your key responsibilities:

You will be part of the Voice Network Operations team as a 3rd line Voice Support Engineer, supporting the client and the internal telecom corporate network, covering all fixed line platforms, elements, systems and services.

Manage fault resolution escalated from other areas/departments of the company, third party suppliers and InterconnecT partners

Reactively investigate and resolve faults related to the voice platforms and associated services

Handle escalations and resolve issues in accordance to agreed SLAs, identifying root cause of problems and outlining appropriate solutions.

You will raise, support network and system changes to ensure they are successful without any customer impact To ensure all maintenance procedures, software updates and upgrade activities are adhered to according to the specified procedures and change practices

To proactively use KPIs, stats, and analysis flows to spot, track trends and areas of concern. Highlighting issues, taking appropriate actions for resolution, minimizing service impact.

Provisioning, validating and issue resolution of new SIP/C7 interconnects

Championing continuous improvement by identifying areas that could benefit from automation of processes. Your Skills Strong previous background working in telecommunications industry.

Experience and knowledge working with the Ribbon C20, Huawei IMS and Nokia IMS Switches, their architecture, interworking principles in order to support associated services You should have good communication skills to work with other areas of the business

Knowledgeable in voice switch translation and UK dial plans

Knowledgeable in voice protocols, including C7, SIP, H248 and Diameter

Experience and knowledge working with Oracle SBCs

Experience in Operational and NOC environments, working at tier 3 level

Excellent ability to work in a pressured Real Time environment.
